We nurture a child's curiosity about the natural world into whole scientific reasoning, from moving objects to changing matter to living things. Science-background tutors guide through observation and simple experiments across primary and junior high, in person or online.

Science tutoring (IPA) is one-on-one private learning that helps students understand Natural Science as an integrated whole, covering physics, chemistry, and biology. Tutors connect science concepts to everyday events so primary and junior high students learn through reasoning, ready to continue into separate Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects in senior high.
A science experiment can run at the kitchen table, through a screen, or alongside friends. Pick the one that fits your family's rhythm.
The tutor comes to your home and can run simple experiments directly.
Learn via Zoom with a digital whiteboard and demonstration videos, anywhere.
Learn with 2-3 friends, making experiments more fun.
We tailor the material and approach to your child's age and school grade.
Children are invited to observe their surroundings: living things, objects, weather, and their own bodies. Science is introduced through enjoyable stories and observation.
Subjects:
Focus Areas:
Students begin to understand energy, force, body systems, and life cycles. Material is prepared so the transition to Integrated Science in junior high feels light.
Subjects:
Focus Areas:
Three branches of science combine into one subject. Tutors help students see the common thread between motion, matter, and living things so the material does not feel fragmented.
Subjects:
Focus Areas:
Deepening toward senior high, when science splits into Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Coaching is also available for students targeting the National Science Competition (KSN) and other contests.

Focus Areas:
Lesson material is aligned with each student's school curriculum, not one-size-fits-all.
Tutors align material with the school's textbooks and test schedule.
The latest national curriculum with a science-literacy and formative-assessment approach.
Still used by some schools, with basic competencies per science chapter.
Science in English for international schools.
Focused problem practice for school exams, junior/senior high selection, and KSN.
From a child overwhelmed by science terms to an aspiring KSN contestant, each one gets support that starts from where they are.
Students who struggle to memorize many science terms or whose grades are slipping.
Recommended:
Facing tests, school exams, or selection into a favorite junior/senior high.
Recommended:
Children aiming to break into the National Science Competition and other contests.
Recommended:
Needing science in English for the Cambridge or IB curriculum.

Grade 8 Junior High • May 2026
Overall Progress
11 of 20
Master elements and compounds before the school exam
Jun 1, 2026
Digestive and respiratory systems well understood
Needs practice with force and work calculations
Elements, compounds, and mixtures still get mixed up
Solar system understood, layers of the earth need depth
Elementary and middle schoolers often hold their own theories about nature that feel right but are wrong. The five we meet most.
Why it happens
Students struggle to tell them apart.
How we fix it
A physical change alters shape or state without a new substance, like ice melting. A chemical change produces a new substance, like iron rusting.
Why it happens
Students think roots absorb food from soil.
How we fix it
Plants make their own food through photosynthesis from carbon dioxide, water, and light. Soil provides water and minerals, not food.
Why it happens
Students think heavy things always sink.
How we fix it
Sinking or floating is determined by density compared to water, not weight alone. A steel ship is very heavy yet floats.
Why it happens
Students think the moon only appears at night.
How we fix it
The moon is still there during the day and is sometimes visible. Bright sunlight makes it less contrasting, not gone.
Why it happens
Students think bacteria always cause disease.
How we fix it
Many bacteria are beneficial, for example aiding digestion and making yoghurt and tempeh. Only a small portion are pathogens.
The best way to correct them is not to scold, but to let the child observe and prove it themselves.
We weave physics, chemistry, and biology into one story, then prove it through experiments so children understand science down to the root of each concept.
Tutors connect physics, chemistry, and biology so science feels unified.
Tutors from ITB, UI, UGM, and other leading campuses who explain science concepts simply.
Simple practice and demonstration videos make science concepts feel real.
Parents know exactly their child's mastery in physics, chemistry, and biology.
Match the schedule, format, and science tutor to your family’s routine.
The first two sessions are for matching; if it is not right, the tutor is swapped free.
Our tutors are top students and alumni from Indonesia's leading universities.

Connecting science to daily life“Dhila links science concepts to everyday events, so children grasp that science is all around them.”

Science Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya
Learning through simple experiments“Dany has children prove concepts through simple experiments, because seeing it firsthand sticks better than reading theory.”

Physics Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
Physics that makes sense“Hashfi explains physical phenomena with everyday logic, so formulas feel like a summary of events that is easy to understand.”

Chemistry Education, Universitas Negeri Jakarta
Chemistry through nearby things“Husna ties chemical reactions to familiar things, from cooking to rusting, so the concepts are easier to grasp.”

Biology Education, Universitas Negeri Malang
Biology that lives“Syafa brings biology to life with examples of creatures and our own body, so the material feels close and engaging.”

Biology Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya
Growing curiosity“Helian prompts children to ask about the nature around them, because curiosity is the main engine of learning science.”
From children once bored by memorization to those now brave with physics calculations, here is what learning IPA with EduPoint felt like.
My 5th-grade child used to find science boring because of all the memorizing. The tutor invited him to do small experiments at home, and now he enjoys observing plants and asking lots of questions.

Parent of a primary student • Jakarta
Integrated Science in grade 8 overwhelmed my child with physics, chemistry, and biology at once. The tutor helped organize what mattered most, her grades rose and she became calmer.
Ibu Novi O.
Parent of a junior high student • Bandung
My child struggled with the calculation part of junior high physics. The EduPoint tutor patiently explained force and work formulas until he understood, instead of just giving answers.
Pak Faisal F.
Parent of a junior high student • Surabaya
The progress report per science branch is very helpful. I learned my child is strong in biology but needs help in chemistry. Communication with the coordinator is also pleasant.
Ibu Sofi R.
Parent of a primary student • Depok
I took online tutoring to prepare for the science exam. I could watch demonstration videos and recordings, so it was easy to review organ-system material. The tutor was fun.
Zahrah P.
Junior High Student, Grade 9 • Tangerang
Small group tutoring with friends turned out fun, especially during experiments. The cost is lighter but it stays focused with just three of us. My child is now excited to learn science.
Ibu Nur A.
Parent of a junior high student • Bekasi
As a working parent, I feel at ease because the tutor comes home and there are regular reports. My child's science grade rose from 7 to 9 in one semester.
Pak Atep R.
Parent of a primary student • Semarang
I used to fear the chemistry chapter in junior high science with all its strange terms. My tutor explained using everyday analogies, and now I'm curious about reactions instead.
