is a personal 1-on-1 coaching program to prepare for entry into the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri). Both selections are multi-stage and elimination-based per stage, covering administration, medical examination, psychological testing, academic testing, the physical fitness assessment, mental-ideology screening, and the final determination session (pantukhir). EduPoint focuses on the components that can be trained academically: strengthening academic test material (mathematics, Indonesian, English, national insight), psychometric test practice, plus strategy and understanding of the physical fitness standards. Tutors diagnose your weaknesses and build a personal study plan.

Measures intelligence, personality, and accuracy. A component that often eliminates applicants who under-prepare.
Understanding of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, national history, and state defense that underpins the mental-ideology screening.
A tiered physical test (Samapta A, Samapta B, swimming, posture) with measurable standards that differ by branch and track.
A stage that unexpectedly eliminates many applicants: document requirements, height, and health condition.
Prospective NCO and enlisted applicants who just graduated and want to prepare for the academic and psychometric tests
Recommended:
Officer-track applicants who need deeper academic mastery amid tighter competition
Recommended:
Participants eliminated at one stage who want to return with a more targeted strategy
Recommended:
Students who have set their sights on TNI/Polri and want to prepare academics and fitness well in advance

The selection is multi-stage and elimination-based. Failing one stage means you cannot proceed, so every component must be prepared.
Verification of complete and valid documents: diploma, ID card, birth certificate, supporting letters, plus age, height, and status requirements.

I'm from a small regency with no TNI prep here. EduPoint's online lessons saved my preparation, especially math which used to be my weak point.

Prospective Polri NCO •
Psychometrics is what eliminated me before. After being trained on accuracy and series patterns, I was much calmer and finally advanced to the next stage.

TNI and Polri are both state institutions with similar selection paths, but their duties and domains differ. TNI (made up of the Army, Navy, and Air Force) handles national defense. Polri maintains public security and order and enforces the law.
Entry tracks for both are generally three tiers: Officer (Akmil for TNI, Akpol for Polri) requiring strong academics, NCO, and Enlisted. The higher the track, the tighter the competition and the deeper the academic material tested.
Base your choice between TNI and Polri mainly on interest in the duties. The odds of passing matter, and interest is what carries you through the whole process. Both demand similar academic, mental, and physical readiness, so the preparation you do stays relevant whatever your choice. Many applicants prepare for both at once because the academic and psychometric foundations overlap.
The physical fitness assessment is the most distinctive component of TNI/Polri selection. It is tiered: Samapta A is a 12-minute run for endurance, and Samapta B is pull up, sit up, push up, and shuttle run for strength and agility. Plus swimming and posture examination.
The key to success is starting training well in advance, ideally 3-6 months before the test. The body needs time to adapt, and last-minute training risks injury. Increase the load gradually: add running distance little by little, raise push up and sit up reps consistently.
Note that the passing values differ every year, by branch, and by track, and vary by gender and age. EduPoint tutors explain the reference standards and training strategy, while the physical training itself remains independent. Always refer to the official recruitment rules for the exact figures of the current year.
Psychometrics is often an unexpected elimination point. Many applicants focus on physical and academic training, then assume psychometrics can be faced without preparation. In reality, psychometrics measure intelligence, personality, and accuracy with distinctive question patterns.
The accuracy test, for example, demands high precision under tight time pressure. Number-series and analogy tests require habit so the brain is trained to recognize patterns quickly. Without practice, applicants run out of time or make small errors that pile up.
For the personality test, the key is consistent honesty. Questions are often repeated in different forms to test the consistency of answers. Trying to look perfect actually creates detectable inconsistencies. Regular practice with guidance makes the question patterns familiar so you can work calmly.
Many applicants focus on academics and fitness, then fail at the administration or medical stage that could have been anticipated. Here is what to prepare well in advance:
- Complete and valid documents: diploma, ID card, family card, birth certificate, and letters per the track's requirements. - Height and weight: ensure you meet the minimum per track and gender, with a proportional weight. - Eye health: many applicants fail due to nearsightedness or astigmatism. Check your eyes early to know the real condition. - Dental health: cavities or dental problems can cause elimination. Care for them early. - Free of tattoos and piercings: per the applicable rules, ensure the body is free of disallowed tattoos and piercing marks. - Medical history: be aware of conditions such as varicose veins, hemorrhoids, or other illnesses on the disqualification list.
Checking all this early gives time to fix what can still be fixed and avoids disappointment at the end of the selection.
The ideal preparation time is 6-12 months, especially for officer-track applicants (Akmil/Akpol) facing tight competition. Long preparation gives room to build academic foundations, train psychometric patterns, and most importantly, condition the body gradually.
The physical component is the main reason to start early. Endurance and strength cannot be built in a few weeks. The body needs months to reach the 12-minute-run standard and Samapta B reps without injury.
For those with limited time, the 4-8 week Final Sprint Program focuses on academic simulation, psychometric reinforcement, and strategy. Still, for fitness, prior training is strongly advised. Ideally, set your goal in high school so you can prepare academics and fitness side by side without rushing near registration.
